Project 11 Deliverable

Synopsis

I wanted to edit/mod sprites from Kirby. I chose Kirby because its a childhood favorite. I have always played Kirby games since I was a kid. I intended to make Kirby do a variety of different animations. I am overall pleased with m deliverable.

Stick Figure Drawing

My stick figure game deals with superhero's. You play as Sean, a high school superhero. The main character has super strength, super speed, and an energy cannon. His weaknesses are: trying to save everyone, adults, and guns.

Project 11 Presentation/participation

Presentation

I looked at a lot of gifs in the class, but I really liked Matt's gif of wario. Everything about his gif looks well made. It is a really smooth gif. I think Matt did a really good job on his gif of wario lifting weights.

Participation

I really like my gif of Kirby walking. I think that it looks like the real thing. But the only problem I have with my gifs is that I needed to find a better size sprite sheet with better resolution. When I made my gifs bigger it made them a little blurry, so if I had to fix anything, that would be it.

Project 10 Deliverable

Project 10 Drawing

Project 10 Participation/Presentation

Participation

I discussed my Photoshop version with a lot of people in the class. They all really like my design I made. I spoke with Matt and he said that he really liked my card because it looked very professional. My card looked like it was an actual Magic The Gathering card.

Presentation

I looked at a lot of different card designs while I was in class. I really like the templates Ryan used in his card designs. My design looks really similar to all the designs I looked at. But if I had to change anything, it would be my card template. I really like the one that Ryan used and if I had to change anything with my design, I would use a better template.

Project9(new) Presentation/participation

Presentation

I looked at Matthew Mudgett's Concept development. I really like the way he designed his dirt blocks. He used the dither tool which made them look even better.

Participation

I spoke with Professor Garvey about my concept development. At the time I didn't have anything drawn and was a little confused. He helped me realize what size of a canvas I should use. After speaking with Professor Garvey, it helped me complete my concept development.
